Stuff- February 13, 2013
Concerns- This house is now being listed for sale. I will make my move towards downtown, sometime in March or April.
Type A people and I may never really understand, or trust, one another. This will affect my attendance at a regular mid-week event, but life goes on.
I have two meetings this evening. Either one, or both, could end up being a hair-raising, or hair-pulling, experience.
I don't give a care if no one on Word Press reads my personal posts. The posts will continue- mostly for my friends on Xanga and Facebook. WP'ers, keep snoozing, just don't snore too loudly- okay.
Sid- He was about the first TV personality to make me laugh. So much of Sid Caesar's comedy was situational. This made it timeless. RIP, sir.
Vortex- Southland, you are surviving! East Coast, hang in there. You know what to do, and it'll be gone soon.

I liked Sid Caesar too.
Seems we are losing several all at once - Shirley Temple-Black, now Sid Caesar. These things tend to come in threes.... Life is too short to waste time on (or with) people who don't like you or care about you. I hope the difficult people can learn to see beyond their egos. It makes everything better when we put others first (but not at a detriment of our own mental health)!
yes, he made me laugh, too.
I really liked him.
Well, I know you know a lot more folks back east then I do. I can't even imagine going without power!
I guess they have fireplaces and wood.
You're like me; not a type A type person. LOL we drive them crazy.
I try to keep my commitments but sometimes you just have to say,"enough, I'm taking a break."
Glad you're moving closer to town.
Val, we lost Ralph "Papa Walton" Waite, this afternoon.
Jill, it will be nicer to move into town. I am not much of a suburbanite, in my heart.
There were so many funny guys back then! And we never heard them say a dirty word! Maybe they did in their live shows, but never on TV or in the movies. Censorship CAN be a good thing... sometimes.
Typ A's I try to stay away from, and you can tell froma distance who they are, right? I like to have nice, quiet conversations.
I hadn't heard about Ralph Waite! He worked a lot in the last few years, playing Gibb's father on NCIS and Booth's grandfather on Bones. A good old guy. I don't believe in deaths "coming in threes." Celebrities die like everyone else, some deaths we notice and others, we don't.
Sid made me laugh in the 50's.
I always enjoy your posts I need to get better about commenting more often I have been in sort of a funk chronic pain does that but it is going to get warmer and I am going to come out of my shell
Mae, I hope you are getting a handle on your pain. Melaleuca and Deep Blue, from http://www.doterra.com, can help.
Sid was always good for a laugh; Shirley, for a smile and Ralph, for reassurance that all would be well.
